As we continue connecting with like-minded communities whose visions align with ours, let’s talk about this month’s theme —Veganuary!

It all started on February 12, 2013, when Matthew Glover sent an email to two of his closest pals with a simple subject: Veganuary. All it said was, “Like Movember, but all money raised goes to Farm Sanctuary or similar. Good idea?”

And just like that, Veganuary was born! 🌱🎉

Since 2014, this UK-based non-profit has been inspiring millions worldwide to go vegan for January and even beyond, as part of their one-month pledge. In 2024 alone more than 2,100 new vegan products and menu options were launched in their key campaign countries. Talk about making waves!

Guess who’s on their star-studded support team? 🌟 😎 Icons like Billie Eilish, Joaquin Phoenix, and Paul McCartney, just to name a few.

If you’re vegan-curious, know others who may be, or just need a fresh dose of plant-based inspo, their website is a goldmine. From recipes to eating-guides and resources on how to get involved, they’ve got you covered. Check them out and see why this movement has captured hearts (and stomachs) everywhere.
